In 2005, Inter Weavers were commissioned to provide a Lotus Notes based Contract Management System for a Consultancy Engineering Company within Corus. The CMS was designed to track the status of their project enquiries through an internal approval process. Successful enquiries would then become Projects. A separate Project Database was created for each Project and the system interfaced with their Progression Finance System.
The Project Database included a Project Execution Plan with budgets, forecasts and change management.
This system replaced a paper based system. The system adhered to existing Company Procedures.
The company estimated that the system saves them £15,000 per month in their Project Manager's time alone.
