I'd like to try and integrate it with other popular openNTF products that are out there.

Hoping to get the code released tonight!

So much for the one week commitment!

The web based interface already has a simplistic reporting facility to Excel. This wasn't used by our primary client because they interfaced the system to a back-end database outside of Notes and the reporting was all done from there. I use that for my invoicing needs but there is certainly scope to improve it. Obviously, you also have the Notes Client interface to export from.

I set up a Notes development company in Pune, India with my partner recruiting and training Indian programmers and graphic designers.
This will be a nice addition to the OpenNTF template roster, and I look forward to playing around with it. One of the features that I suspect would not be TOO hard to add to any such system is the ability to spit out a timesheet in whatever stupid format a given client wants, such as a custom spreadsheet. It would essentially be an exercise in mapping fields to cells of an "empty" sample spreadsheet. It might not be that easy for web-entry systems.

In any case, the convenience of having a Notes-baseed single point of time entry for ALL booked time regardless of client/project has always been on my wish list.

What were you doing in India? My wife is from that part of the world and we've long hoped to live in the region for at least a few years.

It also gives me the idea of implementing some other code I have that interrogates a user's machine configuration, as that can also be useful sometimes. The code I have was adapted from the OpenNTF Help!! project, and while it creates a custom doc to capture the various data points, I suppose it could easily be adapted to write those details as a block into the logevent record.

Keep 'em coming!
