28/4: New Leaf Theme

Just for the hell of it, I've installed one of the new themes provided by the latest version of Domino Blog.  I love the way that you can change the complete look and feel of the site with just two clicks.  Great software.  If you are looking for some blogging software then you can't go wrong with this.  Check it out here.

6/4: New themes

I've just downloaded version 3.01 of the ProjectDX templates which include three additional blog themes.  So this is the "Notebook" theme that was previously used on the OpenNTF blog.  I'll probably alternate between themes for a week at a time to decide which I like best.

I had lost the links to the site pages (home, about and contact) so I'll have to figure out how to put them back in but, hey, pretty damn groovy.  The software makes it so easy to change themes.

So once again, thanks Steve!

3/4: Mexico

Just come back from Monterrey, Mexico.  It was my first time and I liked it a lot.  I was there compiling a budget for a bid we're doing.  If we're successful, it will mean a global project with a real need for collaboration.  It will have people in Mexico needing to work with people in India and with people in the Middle East.  We're talking 11.5 hours time difference and language issues too!

Anyway, I've just updated my World66 map showing the 26 countries I've visited.

The next ones on the list are Thailand and Peru (and Qatar if the bid is successful) ...

3/4: SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards

I'm a big fan of Open Source software.  Here's a list of some of the best software available ...

"The results are in, and the voters have spoken. We've just tallied the results for the 2006 SourceForge.net Community Choice Awards. The results are impressive--more than 212,000 of you came to voice your support for the projects nominated. Winners will be announced at the Slashdot Lounge in the .ORG Pavilion at LinuxWorld Expo, Boston, on April 5, and the complete list of winners will be posted on
SourceForge.net on April 6."

Meanwhile, you can view the complete list of nominees and read more about the awards at http://sourceforge.net/awards/cca/.
